Programs such as BEAST and Migrate sample genealogical trees according to combined mutational and demographic models, relying heavily on the coalescent. These programs report model parameters as well as a small number of statistics describing the genealogies they sample. The program PACT (Posterior Analysis of Coalescent Trees) is meant to be run downstream of a genealogy sampler to summarize different aspects of the sampled trees. A full manual is available in PDF.
